MoreFood never disappoints at this "diamond in the rough". Popi's is such a fantastic place to eat that I honestly did not want to write up a review for fear of it becoming more popular... But for all my selfish reasons to try and a keep this great place to myself, the food and experience here is so incredibly good that I had to put down a positive review. Overall Experience - 10 out of 10 Consistently great each and every single time I have been.Food - 10 out of 10, Appetizers, Entrees, Dinner Specials, & even Desserts have all been perfect. Price - $ Amazingly affordable and almost unbelievable. Convenience: Again a perfect 10! Never have had to wait for a table. Not once. No idea how this is the case, but it's true. Combine this with the fact that they have On-Site parking and eating here any chance you have is a no brainer. All of the above plus a Friendly staff make this one of the best Italian options in all of South Philly.
MoreHad made reservations for 8pm to find out they close at 8. They called and just changed me to 745pm so we still went and had a great time. We were one of I think 2 tables and you would never know it. Our waitress took time to explain the specials and took our order for drinks and appetizers. We never felt rushed, and even enjoyed coffee and dessert. All the food was out of this world and can't wait to bring some friends with us next time.
